A n original and unrestored Rolls Royce; our 1939 wraith is beautiful car with a full service history from new! A beautiful car in superb order with a particularly delicious swooping back to the body making it extremely elegant. This car was bodied by Park Ward, Rolls Royces own coachbuilding company. She is one of the last of the Art-Deco cars and the aero-back really captures the era.
Apparently Park-Ward bodied less than six cars in this style. She had four owners in seventy years and has never been restored; just lovingly maintained. There can’t be many seventy one year old cars with a full service history – we even have the petrol ration coupons from World War Two!
The car is finished in black over ivory and has full length running boards with chrome strakes and a side-mounted spare wheel. Your photographer will have a field day taking pictures of the lovely detailing to the swage lines and the door handles.
Inside the car is trimmed in oyster leather with figured walnut woodwork and burr walnut for the occasional picnic tables. All the original fittings are in place, including silk hand pulls & recessed mirror in the rear section.
A lot of people are fascinated by the history of this rare Rolls Royce Wraith, so I have reproduced it for you.
