1949 Bentley Mulliner
Another car originally registered in Yorkshire (Huddersfield, to be precise) and now fully restored by Superior Motor Cars. She is finished in Bentley's classic ,and understated, Tudor over Shell grey - one of the first metallic paints. Have a look at the restoration photo's.
This very rare coachbuilt Bentley was built for Mr Broadhead of Broadhead and Graves Ltd, Kirkheaton Mills. Broadhead and Graves rapidly developed a succesful business with a reputation for manufacturing superfine worsteds.
HRH The Duke of York visited the Mill in 1932 at which time he was presented with some lengths of cloth and six years later, as king of England, he ordered a further three suit lengths from the mill.
